Install Windows XP without cd
Do you want to install Windows XP without CDROM drive? Do you have a laptop without a CD player and do not know how to install Windows? Do you want to install Windows but do not want to spend money to buy a USB external CD player? Here's the solution: Install Windows XP from a pen drive.

Install the OS from a thumb drive you can. The only requirement is that your motherboard must be able to boot from a USB device. Usually you have to activate the BIOS for USB LEGACY SUPPORT. Once established this feature we can continue with this guide to points:

4 - In the CMD shell to the directory where the command bootsect.exe, for example if you extracted to c by typing: cd c: \ Pre-packed \ bootsect \, and type the following command: bootsect.exe / nt52 G: ("G" is the letter that windows recognizes the pen drive).
